Combined with three other world-class courses, it makes Streamsong one of the nation’s ultimate golfing destinations. The Chain, just steps away from the Streamsong Lodge, is a fun walking course. Players choose where they’d like to play the hole, which range from 109 to 293 yards. It’s completely up to the participants. The Bill Coore -Ben Crenshaw design features a six-hole loop that plays around a grove of trees and a 13-hole loop with more forced carries. The Chain is also the site of The Bucket, a 2.2-acre putting course that will entertain and challenge all golfers. There are three championship courses also, all nationally ranked in the “Top 30 You Can Play” list. The Blue Course, designed by Tom Doak , features multiple elevation changes and huge bunkers that make it quite intimidating, but extremely interesting and challenging. The Red Course, designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, was named “Best New U.S. Course” when it opened in 2012 and is habitually ranked among the top 30 courses in the country by Golf Digest , Golf Magazine and Golfweek . The Black Course, designed by Gil Hanse , features some of the largest, most challenging green complexes you’ll ever find.
